The Sustainability Council of Ventura County was established in 1995 to bring about a sustainable world by promoting an equitable society, a sound economy and a healthy environment.
The council works on several fronts, at times in partnership with other organizations to enact beneficial change for county residents. It is through this change that the goals of sustainability will become achievable at the local level.
